30 Paintings in 30 Days-Day 5

Hood

While I stayed with my same color palette so far, this time I decided to use water color paint for this day’s painting.  But, I did run into a problem that made this painting a bit challenging.  I used a spray fixative to seal the drawing and that made the water color paint bead up and made for a very streaky result.

Oh well, I guess there is always tomorrow.

  1. James had to go back and take a look at what you have done so far. Not sure what the size of these are, but the impact of your style is big!! Am enjoying what you are doing and will definitely look for your work each day. Yes, I know we need our heads examined – especially after we have done this challenge a few times, we know what’s coming. But usually get so much out of it you just have to go for it again.

    1. Thanks Nelvia! It is a crazy month of painting for sure. And, I love that you are doing paintings of mugshots. I’m sure you can find some interesting characters that way.
